East Bay Kids Calendar: April 4 – 10, 2011
Last week was fun! We went to the Cesar Chavez Celebration at the Berkeley Farmers’ Market and saw Aztec and capoeira dancing (why does capoeira dancing make me emotional?) and we got a free pound of apples for filling out a survey. The thing about the Tuesday farmers’ market in Berkeley is the concrete is all bumpy and hard to maneuver a stroller on — so maybe it’s not the best one for babies. Though there is a green area nearby, it’s not as central as the green strip that runs through the Thursday market in North Berkeley, which we also hit up. There are so many kids there. We met a baby named Hannah who was a couple months younger than Elodie, but about the same size. They were so cute together. We’re looking forward to all the exciting things happening this week in the East Bay! Did you guys do anything fun with your little ones?
